Volunteer for the Calving Corner at the Pennsylvania Farm Show, January 6th – 13th, 2018. The Calving Corner is looking for people positive and passionate about the dairy industry. The primary role of volunteers is to help answer any questions Farm Show visitors have. Volunteers are encouraged to share their experience in the dairy industry and portray the dairy industry in a positive way.
Dairy farmers, veterinarians, nutritionists, sales reps, college students and more are welcomed to volunteer any day of the Farm Show. Volunteers may be asked to assist with dairy industry-based learning stations or help with the care and feeding of the animals. They may also be there just to help facilitate the day’s activities. All volunteers will be asked to complete a brief training session hosted by the American Dairy Association North East prior to the Farm Show. Volunteers may sign up for a few hours, all day or for multiple days.
Each volunteer will receive a Calving Corner shirt and a free milkshake from the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association. By donating your time to the Calving Corner, you will be making a positive difference in the public’s perception of today’s dairy farmers, the dairy industry and how and where their dairy products are made.
Fill out the form below to volunteer!! The Calving Corner Volunteer Coordinator will then be in contact with you.
