Pennwood Farms LLC, owned and run by brothers Don, Glenn, Dwight, and Duane Stoltzfus, is a third-generation dairy farm in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. In 1999, the brothers and their parents, Harvey and Mary Jane, moved from Berks County to expand their farm so all interested family members could take part. Today, the farm milks 650 cows and grows crops on 2,000 acres to feed their herd.
The farm is committed to sustainability, using advanced technology like a methane digester and manure solids for bedding to reduce waste and improve efficiency. With both the fourth and fifth generations involved, Pennwood Farms continues its tradition of innovation and family-centered farming.
Milk from Pennwood Farms is packaged in Maola Local Dairies milk and other fresh dairy products.
